Dukes Showdown Champions are Crowned!
This year’s 6th Annual Cumberland Dukes House League Showdown proved to be one of the most exciting in recent memory! This year’s tournament played host to 68 teams competing across 6 different divisions. The tournament featured a fine array of local association teams packed with young talent!
The round robin games, which took place on Friday and Saturday, provided fans with plenty of excitement with many only determined by one goal. When it came time to determine which teams would be moving on to the playoff rounds, many of the divisions came down to the final games on Saturday to settle up the spots for Championship Sunday.
On Sunday morning teams arrived at the Richcraft Sensplex, ready to take to the ice and battle for the right to hoist the championship hardware and bite down on some golden medallions. By the time the sun started to set on Championship Sunday, six teams had been crowned as champions in this year’s edition of the Cumberland Dukes House League Showdown.
